TOMER ESHED

Director | Animator
Tomer was born in in Tel Aviv and spent most of his young life in
Israel. He traveled in the Americas for a couple of years, and came
to Germany in 2002 for the purpose of studying. After learning the
German language, he studied animation at the HFF "Konrad Wolf" in Potsdam,
and directed two short films during this time.
Having a background in drawing, his creative path led him unexpectedly
to computer animation. In an attempt to achieve the most out of the technique, he
collaborated with Dennis Rettkowski on both of the film projects.
The first film, "Our Wonderful Nature," was very well accepted
in festivals worldwide, won several awards, and was even nominated for
the student Oscar. His second film, "Flamingo Pride," was completed just
recently, and is about to be screened in festivals around the globe in
the near future.
